The ACEs Recovery Toolkit uses a whole-family trauma-informed psycho-educational model.
It runs over 10 sessions that has been designed to educate and inform individuals about the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) can have on us as children and as we move into adulthood, as well as raising awareness of the effects that our ACEs can have on our children.
The programme provides guidance on the protective factors that help reduce the impact of ACEs and practical methods for individuals developing the resilience they need for themselves and for their children.
This programme is also delivered at We Are With You, Scunthorpe and the Probation Service, if you are supported with these services, speak to your worker for a referral.
